Some of the newer versions of SAI do not come with all the same textures. This is because the brushes often rely on textures to create the end result. This means a lot of artists will take screenshots of their brush settings and release them online, but they won’t always release a full brush file. It uses textures to design brushes along with other settings that you can customize on the fly. the downside to this being that you can’t really use preserve opacity to change it to a different color or you’ll. the key to this brush is setting that drop down up there to multiply, so you can get really deep darks with your base color where you need it. First, SAI 2 beta has more brush settings than the previous version - for example you can scale brush texture, while it's not possible in 1.x.x (unless you make smaller versions of those textures as a separate.
